Dr. Contreras had twin boys early in his vet school education. He often had to study with his children which led to their love for animals and desire to help educate others about pets. The VetBros Pet Education Charitable Fund stems from this love of animals and education.
The VetBros Pet Education Charitable Fund’s mission is to educate children and young adults about how to best care for pets and to help them fulfill their dreams of becoming veterinarians, animal advocates, and animal healthcare professionals. This organization will help provide scholarship money as well as educational seminars to help individuals realize their dreams.
The VetBros Pet Education Charitable Fund will also provide financial assistance toward healthcare for pets in families experiencing various hardships (bankruptcy, unemployment, etc.) or natural disasters (flooding, tornado, fire, etc.)
